Here's the deal: Sane recognizes the scanner using libusb. i installed ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop. I found my specific firmware at http://drivermagic.co.nz/p/nph-detail.php?a=1221 This site also includes firmware for other snapscan versions. Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?
